All quotations are valid for 60 days unless otherwise stated.
Prices may be subject to revision if the scope of work changes or unforeseen issues arise.
Work will be carried out as described in the quotation.
Any additional work requested by the client will be charged separately.
Changes to the scope must be agreed upon in writing before additional work is carried out.
The client must provide safe and reasonable access to the site for vehicles, tools, and workers.
The client must inform the company of any underground or overhead services (e.g., utility cables, piping, drainage).
The client must ensure all vehicles, garden furniture, ornaments, and any obstructions are moved at least 30 minutes before the scheduled arrival time. If you struggle with any items please notify us or a member of the team who will be happy to assist where possible.
Additional charges may apply if access is restricted or hazards are discovered that were not disclosed at the quoting stage.
The client confirms they are the legal owner of the tree(s) or have the necessary permission from the owner.
The client is responsible for ensuring the tree(s) are not protected by a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) and are not within a Conservation Area.
If the client is unsure, the company is willing to check TPO or Conservation Area status on their behalf.
The company can assist with permission applications, but ultimate legal responsibility lies with the client.
Work is subject to suitable weather conditions and may need to be rescheduled in cases of high winds, heavy rain, or other risks.
The company is not liable for delays caused by adverse weather or external factors beyond its control.
All reasonable efforts will be made to leave the work area clean and tidy on completion.
Small debris, sawdust, and wood dust may remain on lawns, borders, driveways, or other surfaces, but the site will be left to a professional arboricultural standard.
Deep cleaning (e.g., pressure washing, fine sweeping of gravel, removal of embedded sawdust) is not included unless specified in the quotation.
All work will be carried out in accordance with current industry safety standards and guidelines.
The company reserves the right to halt work if site conditions are unsafe.
Reasonable precautions are taken to prevent damage to property.
Minor surface disturbance from equipment may occur; the company is not liable for unavoidable or incidental damage unless caused by negligence.
The client must ensure all vehicles, outdoor furniture, potted plants, ornaments, and valuable items are moved prior to the work commencing.
Work will not knowingly disturb nesting birds, bats, or other protected species.
If protected wildlife is discovered, work may need to be postponed until legally permissible.
The client must ensure the work area is free from animal fouling (e.g., dog waste) prior to the team’s arrival.
If significant fouling is present, work may be delayed or refused until the area is cleaned.
Additional charges may apply for delays or the need to work around contaminated areas.
Debris removal is included when stated in the quotation.
If waste is to remain on-site (e.g., logs for firewood), it becomes the client’s responsibility once the work is complete.
Payment is due within 14 days upon the invoice for completed work unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Late payments may incur interest at a reasonable rate of 20% per 7 day period left unpaid.
Deposits may be required for large jobs or specialised equipment but the client will be notified at time of quotation if this applies.
The company holds full public liability and employer’s liability insurance.
Proof of insurance is available upon request.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a charge.
If the company must cancel due to weather or safety concerns, no fee is charged and the work will be rescheduled.
Any concerns should be raised within 7 days of job completion.
The company will work to resolve all issues promptly and professionally.
